How to See Your Score on a Google Forms Quiz (Step by Step)
Can't find your Google Forms quiz score? Here is where it appears, why it might be hidden and how to see correct answers when your teacher allows it.
You clicked Submit, saw "Your response has been recorded", and now you want your score. Depending on how your teacher set up the quiz, it might be one click away or a few days away. Here is how to find it.
Option 1: The View score button
If your teacher chose Release grade: Immediately after each submission, you will see a View score button on the confirmation page. Click it to see:
- Your total score.
- Which questions you missed (if allowed).
- The correct answers (if allowed).
- Point values for each question (if allowed).
Your teacher can enable or hide each of these separately. So it is normal to see your score without the correct answers.
Option 2: Grades released later
If the teacher chose Later, after manual review, there is no View score button. Once the teacher releases scores, you receive an email with a link to your results. Check your school email, including spam or promotions folders.
Option 3: Google Classroom
If the quiz was assigned in Google Classroom, your grade may also appear in Classroom once the teacher returns it. Open the assignment to see the grade and any private comments. See Google Classroom quiz assignments.
Why your score might change
- Manual grading: paragraph and file upload questions are graded by hand.
- Short answer adjustments: teachers can accept an answer that the auto-grader marked wrong, for example a small spelling difference.
- Corrections: if a question had a wrong answer key, the teacher can fix it and regrade.

Use your results to study
Once you can see your results, turn them into revision:
- Copy every missed question into your notes.
- Write the correct answer and one sentence explaining why.
- Ask an AI to give you two similar questions to test yourself again later.
If you have practice forms on the same topic, work through them and check each answer after committing to yours. TrustStudy can show the answer on the page, so you do not need to switch tabs.

Why can't I see my score on Google Forms?
Your teacher probably chose to release grades later, after manual review. You will receive an email when the score is released.
Can I see my Google Forms score after closing the page?
If grades were released, check your email for the release message or the response receipt. If the form allows editing responses, the link to edit can also lead back to your results.
Why does my score look lower than expected?
Some questions, like paragraph or file upload, need manual grading and may show zero points until your teacher grades them. Short answers also have to match the accepted answers exactly.
