How to Find Google Forms Quiz Answers (the Right Way)

Looking for Google Forms quiz answers? Here is where correct answers legitimately appear, how to get feedback from your teacher and how to study with AI.

Students search for Google Forms answers every day, and most of what they find is either fake or risky. The good news is that correct answers are often available legitimately, at the right time. Here is where to look.

1. After you submit: View score

If your teacher released grades immediately, a View score button appears after you submit. Depending on the settings, it shows:

  • Missed questions: which ones you got wrong.
  • Correct answers: the right answer for each question.
  • Point values: how many points each question was worth.

Your teacher can turn each of these on or off. Read how to see your score on Google Forms.

2. When grades are released later

If the quiz is set to release grades after review, you will get an email when your teacher releases them. The email links to your score and, if allowed, the correct answers.

3. Feedback from your teacher

Teachers can add feedback to answers, often with an explanation or a link to a video or document. Read it even for questions you got right. Knowing why an answer is right is what helps you on the next quiz.

4. Ask

A short, specific message works well: "On question 6, I chose B. Could you explain why C is correct?" Most teachers appreciate students who want to understand.

5. AI for practice and studying

For practice forms, self-check quizzes and homework review, AI is an excellent way to check yourself. With TrustStudy, you can highlight a question on the form and press Alt + X to see the answer in the corner. In Double-click mode, double-clicking a question block reads only that question. Always answer first, then check.

What does not work

  • Shared answer docs: teachers often shuffle questions and choices, change questions between classes or reuse forms with edits, so lists go stale fast.
  • Inspect Element: answer keys are not shown to respondents before submission. See can Inspect Element show Google Forms answers?.
  • "Answer finder" tools: often scams, malware or simply broken.

Stay on the right side

Make answers count

For each correct answer you look up, write a one-line explanation in your notes. Then, a few days later, test yourself on the same idea. That is how you stop needing the answer key. For a full routine, see how to study with Google Forms practice quizzes.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see the correct answers after a Google Forms quiz?

Only if your teacher allows it. In the quiz settings, they choose whether respondents can see missed questions, correct answers and point values, either immediately or after releasing grades.

Is there a way to see Google Forms answers before submitting?

No legitimate way. Answer keys are not shown to respondents before submission, and trying to extract them breaks most schools' rules.

Can AI answer Google Forms questions?

AI can answer many quiz-style questions and is useful for practice forms and studying. For graded quizzes, follow your teacher's AI policy.
